Trigger the bot using Cron Expressions

A cron expression is a string contains 6 to 7 substring which describe the details of the schedule. These fields, separated by white space, can contain any of the allowed values with various combinations as per our need.

To trigger the bot using cron expression please follow below steps.
Step 1. Login to Orchestrator.
Step 2. Click on Triggers Tab.
Step 3. Click on + Button.
Step 4. Provide the Name , Select the Process which you want to trigger , Select the timezone.
Step 5. Click on Advanced Tab.
Step 6. Enter the cron expression as per your need. *Step 7. Click on Add button to save the configuration.

Few examples of cron expression to trigger the bot on Orchestrator.

If you want to trigger the bot to fire on 12.00 PM every day.
Expression: 0 0 12 * * ?
If you want to trigger the bot to fire on 10.15 AM every day.
Expression: 0 15 10 ? * *
If you want to trigger the bot to fire every first day of the month at 12.00 AM
Expression: 0 00 12 1 * ?
If you want to trigger the bot to fire 12.00 PM every day during the year 2019
Expression: 0 00 12 * * ? 2019
If you want to trigger the bot to fire every December 12 at 12.12 AM
Expression: 0 12 12 12 12 ?
If you want to trigger the bot to fire 12 PM every 5 days every month starting on first day of the month.
Expression: 0 0 12 1/5 * ?
If you want to trigger the bot to fire at 10:15 AM on the last Friday of every month
Expression: 0 15 10 ? * 6L
If you want to trigger the bot to fire every 5 minutes starting at 2:00 PM and ending at 2:55 PM and fire every 5 minutes starting at 6.00 PM and ending at 6.55 AM everyday
Expression 0 0/5 14,18 * * ?
If you want to trigger the bot to fire every 5 minutes starting at 2:00 PM and ending at 2:55 PM, every day
Expression: 0 0/5 14 * * ?
If you want to trigger the bot to fire at 2:10 PM and at 5:50 PM every Thursday in the month of May
Expression: 0 10,50 17 ? 5 THU
If you want to trigger the bot to fire every 5 minutes starting at 2:00 PM and ending at 2:55 PM, every day
Expression: 0 0/5 14 * * ?
